Esthet-X®flow New Esthet-Xflow liquid micro hybrid restorative provides the strength, wear resistance, and low shrinkage of some hybrids, in a smart, pseudoplastic-flowable handling. Esthet-Xflow liquid micro hybrid restorative is the only flowable material designed to have a pseudoplastic handling that stacks cleanly in a Class V, and still hugs the prep anatomy by flowing in a Class II prep when used as a liner. Esthet-Xflow liquid micro hybrid enters a market segment with many competitors. DENTSPLY Caulk went to work on a flowable that would provide advantages over currently available materials. Handling has been improved by perfecting the rheology of the material to become pseudoplastic. A pseudoplastic is a term used to describe a material that "stacks" when placed, and with a little bit of instrumentation by the dentist, it flows easily. When the instrumentation stops, the material returns to its stackable state. This allows the dentist to have an improved amount of control in the placement of the material.
